Currently Seeking:

Birth Doula:

Overview: ATX Doulas is dedicated to antiracism, reproductive justice work, diversity and inclusion, evidence based care and continued growth and education. We are seeking culturally competent, compassionate doulas who are interested in collaborating and contributing to the team. Responsibilities: -Provide education, emotional, and physical support to pregnant, birthing, and postpartum people. -Honor the wishes and plans of the birthing person, not imposing your own beliefs about birth upon them. - Be available for on-call labor support for your designated day(s). - Record labor notes within 24-72 hours following any meeting with a family. - Uphold the values of ATX Doulas with families and amongst the ATX Doula community. Requirements: -be at least 18 years old -have a driver's license and working vehicle -agree to and sign a contractor agreement which contains a non-compete for birthwork. Due to the nature of the company's collective business model, you may not accept private birth doula clients outside of ATX Doulas. -participate in ATX Doulas-sponsored continuing education workshops -attend the ATX Doulas Training and Orientation -support ATX Doulas through participation in Doulapaloozas and Doulas in the Park

Postpartum Doula:

Overview: ATX Doulas is dedicated to antiracism, reproductive justice work, diversity and inclusion, evidence based care and continued growth and education. We are seeking culturally competent, compassionate doulas who are interested in collaborating and contributing to the team. Responsibilities: -Provide education, emotional, and physical support to pregnant, birthing, and postpartum people. -Honor the wishes and plans of the postpartum person, not imposing your own beliefs about postpartum upon them. - Be available for daytime and/or night time support in 4 hr or 8 hr minimums. - Uphold the values of ATX Doulas with families and amongst the ATX Doula community. Requirements: -be at least 18 years old -have a driver's license and working vehicle -agree to and sign a contractor agreement. -participate in ATX Doulas-sponsored continuing education workshops -attend the ATX Doulas Training and Orientation -support ATX Doulas through participation in Doulapaloozas and Doulas in the Park
