*Please note that due to the nature of our work assisting with newborns, we do not typically help with families that are sick

A POSTPARTUM DOULA:
Is a newborn care specialist
Shares knowledge gleaned from personal and professional experience
Empowers parents while building confidence in parenting skills
Nurtures the new family unit
Cares for baby while parents rest, shower, etc.
Helps with feedings: checks latch, helps with pumping, gives bottle (formula or breastmilk)
Processes birth and normalizes the wild ride of having a new baby
Provides resources and referrals when family has needs outside of doula's scope
A POSTPARTUM DOULA DOES NOT:
Do major house cleaning
Stay awake all night during night shift
Do anything clinical
Act as a lactation consultant

POSTPARTUM DOULA SERVICES

All postpartum hours will expire 3 months after purchase of postpartum hours OR birth of the baby (whichever is greater)

50% of the package fee is non-refundable and non-transferable for all hours that are not scheduled

Pricing will convert to the individual hourly amount for partially used packages

Cancellation Policy:

≥ 2 weeks -- no fee for rescheduling

24 hours to 2 weeks -- 25% (based on number of hours scheduled)

< 24 hours -- 50% fee (based on number of hours scheduled)
